I'd like to tell you a little about myself.Twenty Five years ago I was asked by family members to help out at a company picnic, where the person scheduled to do face painting failed to arrive. I considered myself somewhat creative and artistic, but the idea of painting on something that wiggles and squirms, made me nervous. But I rolled up my sleeves, and gave it a whirl. After the first few children, I was hooked! This was where I was meant to be. After the picnic, I jumped into the business, full speed ahead. After building a thriving business, I decided I needed to be as professional as possible, and began formally educating myself, taking lessons and advice from some of the best artists in the face painting world. I have learned about the best and safest products to use on our children, and how to follow good hygiene and safety guidelines.
To this day, I am awed by the appreciation I receive, and even more surprised when I notice an audience forming. This is the best job in the world! Where else could I combine my two loves, children and painting. I have often thought that I'd love to do something really important, to make this world a better place. I'd like to think that just maybe I can make a difference, one child at a time, one smile at a time.
It is my priority to provide high-quality service, and insure everyone's safety and hygiene. I use only professional, FDA compliant, mold and bacteria resistant face & body paint. They are easily removed with just water, soap and water, or baby wipes. To further insure everyone's safety, I discourage painting on broken skin, sunburn, or rash, and offer to paint an arm or hand.
I provide, for everyone's convenience, a large display, with a wide variety of photos, and many designs to choose from. If time pe
rmits, I enjoy the challenge of a special request. I use a variety of bright and vivid colors, and glitter to add that extra magical touch!
I have added a balloonist to my services, his name is Autumn. Years ago, I met this young man at a 4th of July event. He is a very ambitious self-taught balloonist. He is only 23 yrs old, but wows everyone, every time! I decided to mentor him, as I recognized the possibility of a very promising future for him. He has not disappointed and I am very proud to have him working with me. He dresses a little funky, and festive, no clown attire.
My goal is to put a smile on every child's face. I also respect a child's resistance to being painted. I want this to be a joyful experience for me, as well as those being painted. I will do all that I can to exceed your expectations. The highest compliment for me, is your referral to friends and family.
